‘The Five Minute Journal’ es un cuadernito en formato libro que está creado por varios psicólogos con el objetivo de cambiar tu forma de vivir el día a día. En su interior, básicamente hay ejercicios superfáciles que tardas en hacer, literalmente, cinco minutos (de ahí el nombre).
En Instagram se ha hecho muy popular porque resulta una herramienta que invita a pensar dos veces al día, una por la mañana y otra justo antes de dormir.
El cuaderno en cuestión está dividido en varias secciones. La primera es una introducción que explica lo que puede aportar a tu vida el hecho de realizar los ejercicios a diario.
Por la mañana
Los creadores recomiendan colocar el cuaderno en la mesilla junto a un boli, justo al lado de la cama, para acordarnos de hacerlo todos los días. Cuando establezcas un hueco en tu despertar (¿mientras desayunas?), tienes que escribir tres cosas por las que te sientes agradecida, tres cosas que harían de tu día una jornada genial y dos afirmaciones sobre ti.
Por la noche
Antes de dormir, te resultará curioso releer cuáles eran tus pensamientos al despertar. Y además, escribirás tres cosas que hicieron que tu día fuera genial y dos cosas que hubieran hecho ese día incluso mejor.

What a wonderful idea, and by limiting exactly what is required, it should remove any potential doubts as to whether it’s worth keeping up. It sounds like a brilliant way of spreading self-positivity too!

I hadn’t heard about this journal until now, but it’s definitely intriguing. I have a hard time not waking up and just starting work the second I open my eyes. This would be a good way to separate from that workday a little bit more in the morning and evening. Thanks for sharing!
